Change of project and the headaches that come along with it

Oh well.. as if it hasn't happened before. It happened when i was doing my final degree project and it just happened again for my masters degree project. I have changed from molecular taxonomy of the Decapterus fish to doing microsatellites for blood cockles. Yup....WHAT ON EARTH IS THAT? Satellites? IN COCKLES. hehe i swallowed satellites during those lok lok trips. It's one of my favourite lok by the way. Anyways, i did a whole lot of reading again and i sort of have an idea of microsatellites are all about and what it has to do with characterizing and identifying cockles. But the problem is, i hardly know how to do it. It's totally new to me. I didn't even study it for my degree but i'm taking up the challenge. My friends and fiance are totally supportive of me thank God and i have someone who's doing the same project as me just that hers is on ants. She's definitely more capable than me and the good thing is she's helpful...well, we help each other la.

Right now, i'm wishing i have my own lab. Cause i'm working on my blog now because the machines which i do my experiments on are being hogged by juniors. They have to finish their project real fast cause the sem'a coming to an end and they have to hand in their projects. So we have to graciously allow them to do what they have to do first lor.

I suppose that's all to this. I think i'll pay a visit to the toilet... and then to Chern's lab...while waiting....WAITING....

Masters in USM?

Who would have thought i would end up here? i mean it was in one of my wildest dreams but huh? I mean seriously where would i head off to after this? Any idea? I dun have one...Just going where the road bring me and hope i find something by the end of everything. til then i would presumably be bz applying for scholarships and stuff. In the midst of it i hope i find things that are beautiful and that are not. And hopefully, just hopefully, find myself and learn something valuable along the way. God, please continue showing me the WAY...
