Our monthly food escapades...

Danny and I have decided to spend a little more on our food on one weekend a month... this time we went to Brasil 68. Man was the food excellent and not only that the service was very good. The waiters or Passadors were all friendly and that made dining there pleasant. The music was great and with Brazilian Samba playing in the background while you are eating, one can't help but shake the head to the beat.... What's more, while we were there, the owner's wife and his cute little baby boy (he looks so much like his Brazilian father) were also there and therefore, we were treated to a a couple of minutes of the owner thumping on one of the drum-looking things to the Samba beat!!

The place is nicely decorated with sheer curtains making it romantic for couples and qutie enough for friendly meals and family gatherings... You don't have to pace how fast you eat cause they do it for you. Reminds of the meal i had in Carvery, Kuching. Same concept. Partial buffet - you get your own appetizers (the soup was superb!) and when you're ready there is a piece of laminated card you could turn over to let them know you want the meat served... Sim, por favor (meaning yes, please)

We had for kinds of meat and one grilled pineapple. The pineapple was actually grilled with cinnamon on top and i must say the meat (beef, chicken, lamb, fish) were all exquisitely marinated in a typical brazilian way...i have never tasted anything like it! Imagine juices of the meat flowing while you bite into it...Tender and moist with flavour to die for. And the dessert... i love the strawberry and chocolate mousse...divine!~

Boy was the meal good! I would definitely go back there and recommend ppl there too. The price is really reasonable for the service, food, atmosphere and samba music!!!
