Number 2: Pedu Lake
During my trip back to Penang, I did have some time off to spend some time with my fiance. I came up with the idea of going to Pedu lake. This lake was featured in the papers a few weeks ago saying it's a beautiful place and all that. Well, while we were there it was not quite what i thought it would be.
First let me share with you what i expected. I read from the net that it was a place full of activities like water jet skiing, swimming, and forest trekking. So i went there actually expecting that. Well we got nothing of that. The water level of the lake was so low that we could see a fair bit of the undergrowth under it. My goodness...how can anyone jet ski in that? oh well, then we decided to take a look at the swimming pool. It had dirt at the bottom of it and the 3-tiered swimming pool which was supposed to have water flowing down from level to another didn't do what it was supposed to do but instead had some dirt at the bottom of it. well i guess we couldn't expect so much from a hotel that only had 5 ppl accomodating it at the time i was there.
But thank God it wasn't all that bad. Danny and i did get the time we wanted together just focusing on each other. The nature was good. Very scenic. all naturale hehe. I enjoyed myself watching the swans, monitor lizards, praying mantises and 7 baby wild boars running wild considering that i carried my law notes around with me while i was there but danny didn't mind. Who else would i marry if not him?
The view...it's like from one of those prairie movies...beautiful combination of earth and sky :-)
sorry...thay're not swans...i think they were more like geese hehe
my baby and i...
