Day of madness...as always :-)

Woke up at 6.30 this morning. This was because the sun rises earlier on this side of the country and not because I wasn’t sleepy anymore. We went straight for class without breakfast because we were already late. When Sarah and I reached class there were only 4 other classmates waiting there. Where were they I don’t know…probably still holidaying hehe. So the lecturer came along a little later and conveniently pasted a note outside the classroom saying the first class will start Wednesday. So all of us went for our first breakfast in campus. The food still ok and still the same.

After breakfast Sarah and I went to register ourselves at the faculty, Chris went for class and Grace went to get a car sticker for her new car. When we reached the faculty the line that was already there could reach Mars and guess what? It was lengthening! So the both of us thought forget it. We’ll go see our mentors and supervisors first.

I went to see Dr. Lee whom I also call my Daddy. Ya he’s my father figure when my dad’s not there. He takes care of me and is also very concerned about his mentees. I took my results from him. Turns out I did better this sem and got into the Dean’s list. Been really trying hard to get into the list since the first sem in first year. This is my first time so is really something for me. We discussed a bit about my Final Year Project (FYP) and then we went over to Sarah’s daddy’s place to check out Sarah’s results.

We settled our stuff in campus and then we went over to the college. I finally got my room in the furthest block and the toppest floor. But that didn’t matter. I’m glad I could get a room to myself this time and the apartment is new. My room faces a lot of green so that’s good too. Sarah and Chris are also in the same apartment.

By this time we found out that Chris’s grandma had passed away at 12pm. So we quickly settled everything at the hostel and went straight back to Sarah’s house. Chris started packing while Sarah and I rushed back to campus on a last minute notice about a meeting with our program head after which we rushed back to fetch Chris to the airport. We went through a little something to get the last minute tickets but we got it all settled fast with God’s grace.

We came back to Sarah’s house and had dinner and now I’m blogging hehe.
