Electricity woes...

well, it all happened yesterday when i was watching tv in the hall. i was enduring the one and only penang annual hot spells when suddenly the light that was left on started flickering. on, off...on, off...then, on, off again. i thought, heck, what on earth is going on?
anyways, i got on watching the man on tv cry because he lost he lost his gf (which was actually a guy - he was gay). and then off, on again! at around 7pm, right after i finished my chinese soap, the lights went off again and guess what? yup! it didn't light back!
HECK! i'm going to sizzle and just burn away and no one's gonna find my ashes. i watched helplessly as the fan move slower and slower... i'm gonna die!
my dad called LLN and they came some 15 minutes later... heard one of them say "ini saya boleh buat tapi tak boleh gerenti..." then i saw my neighbour saying something to him and he went "ok ok nanti saya suruh orang datang buat"
and so the lights went back on again.... i managed a bit of Titanic, a couple of comedies and Donald Trump's Apprentic and after that i went to bed. was trying to keep myself so still i wouldn't move a muscle and sweat when the electricity went off again. "ok this time i'm really going to die"
the "orang" came back to "gerenti-ze" the earlier persons work. in the mean time my bf was on his way from his house to save me from my woe. it was midnight already at that time i thought what he did for me last night was really sweet.
i left together with my boo when he reached. found out that the electricity came back again this morn at 12.30am. but every story got a good side to it. i noticed the neighbours getting together that night and in the wee hours of the morn. they were chatting and laughing as if what was happening didn't affect them much. well guess something's got to bring us together...so why not this?
